Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou was born in Beaumont in France's Puy-de-Domme on August 9 1976 the eldest of four children. Her parents, a dentist and a teacher recognised and supported her interest in acting and theatre from a young age which overcame her initial ambition to be a primatologist due to her obsession with monkeys. Her rise to fame as a young actress quickly and was accompanied by early success. After completing her studies and completing her studies, she took part in the French program for scouting talent on television Jeunes Premiers. The show awarded her the Best Young Actress at Beziers Festival of Young Actors and started her career as an actor. Tautou was educated at in the Institut Catholique de Paris, and was a member of the church when she was an infant. She has since distanced herself with this background. Tautou claims to be not legally Catholic. Alongside her acting career, Tautou took up modeling and was the face for L'Oreal Mont Blanc as well as Chanel. As well as her acting work she is also interested in photography. The actress recently showed some of her photographs during the Arles Film Festival under the name Superficial. Her work is mostly focused on fame and celebrity and will focus to the journalists who watched her following her sudden fame alongside Amelie as well as self-portraits. Audrey Tautou shot to stardom as well as international recognition with her first major role starring as the main character in the film Le Fabuleux Destin de l'Amelie Poulain. Amelie earned international acclai record and also received praise by awards galas across the world. Amelie is one of the top-performing French language movie across the US. The film's popularity led to Tautou's appearance in a wide range of film productions ranging from British dramas like Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things to Jean-Pierre Jeunet's film Un long Sunday de fiancailles. She then moved to Hollywood by directing Ron Howard of The Da Vinci Code, a Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code alongside Tom Hanks.
